This painting is of a Male Northern Cardinal; by far one of Thomas' favorite birds. The work is acrylic paint and other mixed media done on a hand stretched canvas. As an artist he strives to integrate a diverse selection of acrylic and latex paints, water media, aerosols, and graphite line work – all which can be found in this particular piece. The composition and subject matter play back and forth connecting line, color, and shape allowing the viewer to be fully absorbed. Approx dimensions: 30" tall x 23" wide.
