Show us (and the world) what ya got!

WQPT is launching a new 10-part series
that will feature the work of area filmmakers. Documentaries, feature films or short
subjects will be considered.

Hosted by Tammy and Kelly Rundle, the program will also highlight a look at the creative process behind each film.

Films must be submitted as a DVD and accompanied by an application form. Your DVD will not be returned unless you provide a postage pre-paid envelope. Submitting your film does not guarantee that it will be included in the program. You will be contacted if your submission is chosen.

“The idea to offer local filmmakers an opportunity for their work to be seen by a larger audience has been on our wish list for some time,” said WQPT General Manager, Rick Best. Award-winning filmmakers Kelly and Tammy Rundle will be hosting the yet-to-be-named program. The Rundles currently live and work in Moline after 18 years in Los Angeles. Their film “Villisca: Living with a Mystery” has been seen on a number of PBS stations around the United States and their newest documentary “Lost Nation: The Ioway” has been screening throughout the Midwest.

“We are delighted to have the Rundle’s involved as co-producers and hosts on this project,” said Jerry Myers, WQPT, Manager of Programming and Broadcast Services.
