This week... The Quad Cities was the location for the First Annual Upper Mississippi
River Conference. The conference brought together environmental experts
and governmental officials to talk about the concerns they share about
the Mississippi River and what they can do to make it an even more
valuable resource than it is today. Join host Susan McPeters and guests
Jessica Smith from the Biodiversity Project and Teri Goodman, an
Assistant City Manager in Dubuque and staff member of the National River
Museum and Aquarium, also in Dubuque. The two women attended the
conference. Find out what they hope it accomplished, and set the stage
for this to become an annual event.
