Q. How can I support WQPT?
A. We welcome one-time donations of any amount, but we invite you to become a supporting member of WQPT or to continue your support by renewing or increasing your current membership. Annual member benefits begin at the $40 level.

If you are unable to donate financially, we welcome you to donate your time.
Q. How can I update my membership information?
A. The WQPT PBS Member Portal will allow you to make updates to your membership including your donation amount, payment methods as well as other membership information. You also are welcome to contact usat the station, Monday – Friday during working hours.
Q. I need help with WQPT PBS Passport, what do I do?
A. PBS provides a help desk for all Passport members. You can contact the help desk by calling 844-421-3573.
Q. Why does my donation transaction show WIU Foundation as the merchant?
A. WQPT’s broadcasting license is held by Western Illinois University. Although WQPT is a completely self-funded department within the University, our non-profit status is held by the Western Illinois University Foundation. As a result, on your donation transaction and tax receipts, we will be identified as the WIU Foundation. All donations designated for WQPT are deposited into our account.
Q. Why did I not receive my Program Guide?
A. To operate as efficiently as possible, Program Guides are mailed only upon the request of members. Please note that a minimum donation of $40 per year is required to receive this member benefit. Our program grid is always available on our WQPT.org homepage.
Q. Can I watch any of WQPT’s programs online?
A. From our WQPT.org homepage, you can LIVESTREAM on-air programming. Members who donate a minimum of $60.00 per year will also have on-demand access to WQPT PBS Passport that includes many of our locally produced programs.
Q. With Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) winding down operations on September 30, 2025, what will that mean for WQPT PBS?
A. With your support, WQPT will continue to serve the Quad City Region. Please help us spread the word that while we may be defunded, but we’re not defeated.

Your membership makes WQPT possible, helps keep your neighbors safe with critical information during emergencies, and even gives you access to PBS Passport, putting over 6,000 hours of dramas, documentaries, and more right at your fingertips.
